I would walk 500 miles..twice.
OK, well, not walking. But it will be 500 miles from Tybee Island, Georgia to Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina and 500 back again. Outer Banks Skim Jam weekend.
Staying at a classic fleabag motel on the beach, this should be a fun adventure. The first surf trip of the season.
There were many shipwrecks in the Colonial era there, locals would scavage the rum and hide it in the large sand dunes. It was said that the pirated rum was strong enough to kill the devil and a town was named.
We go seeking waves, photos and maybe even some devil killing spirits at some point.
