St. Patrick's Day Rugby in Savannah

The Savannah Shamrocks hosted the 30th annual Savannah St. Patrick's Day Rugby Tournament, 2008. Teams from as close as Thunderbolt and as far away as the UK gathered to scrum, sweat, drink and enjoy some good competition. UK based team, the Willing, returned to outdo a 1-2 record in last year's tournament. That they did, winning in the final minute of the final game against the Air Force Academy to take the championship title.

King of the Hill 2008

Collins Hill High School hosts the annual King of the Hill Tournament again. Its not enough that they have to organize a tip-top tournament that serves as the de facto junior varsity state title. They show up to perform as well.

Coach Cliff Ramos led his JV team to victory in a season where the Varsity team took both regional and state titles for 2008. Click the photo to see shots of the action from the 2008 King of the Hill tournament.
